Ry has been a licensed Rhode Island tattooer since 2023. He has no official art background, and has just been drawing off vibes since the early 90s. He grew up in New York and now resides in Newport. His style can best be described as “a surrealistic fever dream of black lines and wordplay, with a splash of color and a dash of madness.” When he’s not painting on skin or wood, Ry enjoys reading novels about simulation theory, lifting weights, traveling chaotically, riding his bicycle, playing piano, studying maps, writing down puns and spending time with his fiancé. He’s left-handed and has a Kinks tattoo on his belly.
Ry is currently a resident tattoo artist at Secret Beach Tattoo in Middletown, RI.
